So far, the AlphaDraft app offers content for five popular eSports games: League of Legends, SMITE, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Upon launching the app, users connect to their AlphaDraft account (or create a new one) and select their favorite game to view any active contests for that title.
While some contests are free, many require real-world cash to enter, with some costing as little as $0.01 to access. Each contest is limited to a specific number of entries and offers real-world prizes, including cash prizes.
In each challenge, players have a total available team salary, and they can create their team using real players, who are listed alongside their stats relating to the current season and their last game. Players have different assigned salaries, so users must take these figures into account when creating their perfect team.
Outside of these challenges, players can watch multiple live Twitch streams within the app, and chat with others in real time.
AlphaDraft is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, and it is coming soon to Android.
